Neighborhood Processing in Simulink
Create algorithms in Simulink® that operate on a sliding section or neighborhood of a larger input matrix using the Neighborhood Processing Subsystem (NPSS). The NPSS provides an easy and fast way to set up an N-dimensional neighborhood or kernel with multiple output configurations and padding options. It also provides the ability to generate C/C++ code and run high performance simulations for this data-intensive design pattern. The neighborhood pattern is commonly used in domains such as image processing, computer vision, deep learning, signal processing, filter processing, stencil computation, and other AI applications.
