Easy Wireless Waveform Generation with MATLAB
The Wireless Waveform Generator app is an interactive tool that enables you to create, impair, visualize, and export modulated waveforms, and transmit them over the air. Using the app, you get to choose between custom and standard-based waveforms.
To use the Wireless Waveform Generator app, follow these steps:
- Open the Wireless Waveform Generator app by clicking on the Apps tab in MATLAB and selecting Signal Processing and Communications.
- In the Wireless Waveform Generator app, select the type of waveform you want to create.
- Enter the parameters for the waveform.
- Click the Generate button to generate the waveform.
- Click the Transmit button to transmit the waveform over the air.
Here are some examples of how to use the Wireless Waveform Generator app:
- To generate a custom waveform, select the Custom option in the Type of Waveform drop-down list. Then, enter the parameters for the waveform in the fields below.
- To generate a standard-based waveform, select the Standard option in the Type of Waveform drop-down list. Then, select the standard waveform you want to generate from the list of available standards.
Once you have generated a waveform, you can visualize it by clicking the View button. You can also export the waveform to a file by clicking the Export button.
The Wireless Waveform Generator app is a powerful tool that can be used to generate and transmit wireless waveforms. It is a great tool for engineers and researchers who are working on wireless communication systems.
Here are some additional tips for using the Wireless Waveform Generator app:
- Use the Help menu to learn more about the app's features.
- Experiment with different parameters to see how they affect the waveform.
- Save your favorite waveforms so you can use them again later.
